But thats the problem. When new player A gets the mount and talks to his new player friend who didnt, it can negatively influence the decision of player B and result to him/her to stop playing. Thats the problem. Then you dont have a correct result. The new players are not aware they are part of a test.
Posted February 20, 2018. I think if it were done like a magic-boosted velocipede it could be cool, and less annoying than the motorcycles people are pushing for. But I would rather see it for the jackal, the raptor is cool and loaded with personality and great animations, and it would be a pity to lose all that.

A possible solution: make a mount like raptor available from outposts like a rental npc (such as in Dragonfall's skyscale rentals); or incorporate this into any vendor for only a copper or two. This wouldnt be a perfect solution, but it would at least make up some of the difference for not having completed the POF story.
