1. I just called Canon CPS. They state that the sync for studio flashes is 1/60 and gave me a page in the booklet for the 5d Mark III that goes over it. The sync for canon 600rt and other speedlights is 1/250. I did some tests and I came up with 1/125 as the best sync for my dynalite pack and 5d mark III and also the 5d original.
