How can I remove the ignition barrel on Citroen Berlingo? I want to replace the ignition barrel on my 1997 Citroen Berlingo van and need to know how to remove the ignition barrel to replace with a new one. Please could you advise me on what I need to do. Thanks
If it does, check the fuel pressure is there, i.e. the rail sensor works, the hp fuel pump is running when ignition is turned on and there are no air leaks at the filter or fuel lines. Hi Zion. Thank you very much for the advice, it is greatly appreciated. I will contact the garage and let them know. Kind Regards.
FYI the engine will most probably be scrap too, the oil way’s will be clogged with burnt/old oil/sludge. This is normally the cause of the turbo failure – poor oil flow. I have to agree, I would suspect the quality/accuracy of the cut. You also have to bare in mind that there is differing levels of wear in the barrels. One may accept a slight imperfection in the cut and activate a pin/ball that another barrel wont. My drivers side barrel spins in a certain position but the passengers/barn-doors dont. . 503 414 441 959 672 780 52 258
